HSC-323 Kinesiology GER: NWL (Empirical Study of the Natural World with laboratory) Prerequisite: HSC-210 and MTH-110 , MTH-145 or MTH-150 Study of living systems in motion. Structured around classic mechanics. Evaluating human motion by the methods of kinematics and kinetics. Topics include: the work-energy theorem, Archimedes’ principle, Bernoulli’s law and others that govern human motion. Laboratory exercises developed to bridge the gap between lecture materials and real world applications. 4 credits.
