ART-201 Themes in Ceramics

Prerequisite: ART-112 or ART-200
A continued study of ceramics with an emphasis on vessel-based work to examine thematic approaches in the medium. Students build on skills and techniques to develop an in-depth understanding of form, utility, and design to create a breadth of ceramic work in relationship to history, craft, and theory. 4 credits.
