COM-457 Mass Media & Political Violence

Prerequisite: COM-102
Examination of the historical and contemporary roles of mass communication in connection to political crises, wars, and terrorism. Students will learn about pertinent theories and methodologies that guide the research of these topics. Furthermore, students will critically reflect on production and consumption of political violence-related media content. 4 credits.
