HST-252 Refugees in the Middle East This course examines refugee migrations in the Middle East, including those of Armenians, Palestinians, Jews, Iraqis, and Syrians, between 1860 and today. Students will examine how displacement, citizenship, statelessness, refugee camps, and categories like race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality affect refugee experiences. 4
