All music majors include:

MUS-050 Recital Attendance (required attendance at a specified number of approved concerts and recitals)

PHL-275 Aesthetics or four credits in any combination from ART or THA
two credits of music electives
and, at least eight credits of performance studies in the same instrument or voice.

Performance Studies - four consecutive semesters of private lessons (Instructor permission required) VP - Visual and Performing Arts
Students choosing to fulfill the VP requirement through skills development in music performance studies must successfully complete one credit or more in a single instrument or voice during four consecutive semesters.
