To fulfill major requirements, students must have at least a 2.00 grade point average for courses used to satisfy the major requirements, excluding MTH-141 or MTH-150 .

ACC-370 Advanced Financial Accounting
BUS-340 Introduction to Finance and Markets
ECN-111 Introduction to Economics
ECN-225 Statistics for Economics and Business
MTH-145 Calculus for Management, Life and Social Sciences
or
MTH-150 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I
at least one more course numbered 230 or greater in ACC, BUS (excluding BIO-503 ), or ECN (excluding ECN-503 ).

Certified Public Accountant requirements

Most states require Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidates to complete 150 credits of undergraduate or graduate course work, including specified study in business and accounting. Students interested in becoming a CPA should consult a faculty member in accounting to design a program of study.
