To fulfill requirements for the major, students must have at least a 2.00 grade point average for courses used to satisfy the major requirements, excluding MTH-145 or MTH-150 .

Business Block

During the sophomore year, students apply to register four core business courses integrated into a single block to be completed in either fall or spring semester of their junior year. The four block courses include:

ACC-301 Principles of Managerial Accounting
BUS-321 Marketing Strategy
BUS-331 Operations and Technology Management
BUS-341 Introduction to Corporate Finance

These four prerequisite courses must all be successfully completed prior to placement into the block:

ACC-111 Principles of Financial Accounting
ECN-111 Introduction to Economics
ECN-225 Statistics for Economics and Business
MTH-145 Calculus for Management, Life and Social Sciences
or
MTH-150 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I

A major must also include:

BUS-450 Strategic Management
at least four more courses numbered 230 or greater in ACC, BUS (excluding 503) or ECN (excluding 503)
