Accounting, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

Students must complete at least 18 credits beyond ACC-312 Intermediate Financial Accounting II with a grade point average of at least 2.00 in all courses used to satisfy requirements for the certificate. The pass-no pass grading option may not be used for any course used to fulfill certificate requirements.

Three prerequisite courses must all be successfully completed prior to admission into the certificate program:

ACC-311 Intermediate Financial Accounting I
ACC-312 Intermediate Financial Accounting II

four core courses at Furman:

ACC-340 Federal Income Taxation
ACC-370 Advanced Financial Accounting

and, at least two more topic-based upper-level accounting courses at Furman:

ACC-360 International Accounting
ACC-365 Forsenic Accounting
