ACC-311 Intermediate Accounting I Prerequisite: ACC-111 In-depth study of financial accounting standards related to presenting income statements and balance sheets for business enterprises. Topics include liabilities, current assets, revenue recognition, and time value of money concepts. Students will begin to understand the significant judgments involved in the application of accounting standards and also to recognize the importance of ethics in accounting decision making. A significant service learning project is a required component of this course. 4 credits.
