PSY-324 Learning Prerequisite: PSY-202 or BIO-222 Introduction to the empirical facts and theories of animal and human learning. Historical perspective provided for the development of experimental approaches to learning. Topics include classical and instrumental conditioning, reinforcement, learning related to emotion and motivation, generalization, and discrimination. More recent cognitive emphases also considered. A research report is an important aspect of the course. 4 credits.
