BUS-443 Risk Management


Prerequisite: BUS 340   or BUS 341  
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and principles of risk management. Students will also learn about the valuation and application of derivatives, including futures, options, and
swaps, as well as insurance. Derivatives trading strategies, hedging strategies for managing security and commodity price risk, foreign exchange rate risk, interest rate risk, and other
personal and property risks, as well as the real-world application of insurance and derivatives, will also be discussed. 4 credits.
