BUS-444 Advanced Corporate Finance Prerequisite: BUS 340 or BUS 341 Advanced topics in corporate financial management are the focus of the course. The complex process of the acquisition and allocation of financial resources in the firm, as well as the numerous factors that determine the value of a firm and equity, will be discussed. The topics include the free cash flow valuation model, optimal capital budgeting, payout strategies, capital structure decisions, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, and financial distress. 4 credits.
