HSC-102 Mindfulness for Stress Reduction and Wellness MB (Mind and Body) This experiential course is an introduction to the science and application of mindfulness meditation and mindful physical activity. Topics also include stress physiology and research on the effects of mindfulness-based interventions on physical and mental health and well-being. Students will learn the principles and practices of mindfulness-based stress reduction including meditation and mindful physical activity. Students will learn how to incorporate mindfulness practices into their lives to reduce stress, improve resilience and enhance wellbeing. 4 credits
