FYW-1320 Leaders, Leadership, and Writing

GER: FYW (First Year Writing Seminar)
This course examines the goals and actions of a diverse set of leaders in government, businesses, and non-profits and the ways communication strategies and practices help advance their causes. We will explore speeches, reports, memos, letters, biographies, and other sources to better understand how leaders shape attitudes and prompt actions in a diverse set of circumstances, through diverse written genres, and among a diverse set of stakeholders. 4 credits.
