SCI-110 Big Problems, Big Ideas: The STEM Perspective


GER: NE (Humans and the Natural Environment) and IEJ (Identities, Equity, and Justice)
An interdisciplinary course on modern, real-world problems in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with an emphasis on problem-solving skills that are important across these fields. Topics include scientific “grand challenges” with social justice implications. Designed for students interested in majoring in a STEM field. 4 credits.
