This course provides a comprehensive exploration of how sports influence and are influenced by political dynamics at local, national, and global levels. Topics that will be covered include the role of sports in shaping national identity, the evolution of youth sports, the dynamics of race and gender, the political economy of sports, and the relationship between sports and international relations.
