FST-150 Peninsular Spanish Cinema: A Varied Feast

This course provides an overview of the cinema of Spain, from the silent era, through the Spanish Civil War period, up to the present. Focus is on several of Spain’s greatest directors: Bruñel, Erice, Saura, and Almodóvar. The course will also include mini-units on Catalan cinema and Basque cinema. May Experience ONLY. 2 credits.
