ENG-238 Writing in the Arts

GER: WR (Writing-Research Intensive)
Prerequisite: any first year writing seminar
How do we write about arts and cultural experiences while abroad? What makes a culture piece publishable? And how does writing increase our focus and understanding of the arts? This course provides students opportunities to understand the answers to such question by writing about their experiences with the arts, theatre, and culture in the British Isles program. The primary focus is non-fiction, but students may also write stories and plays. 4 credits.
