GRM-240 Introduction to German Comics and Graphic Novels

PRQ: GRM 201 or a placement score of 210+ or higher.
This course examines the historical, social, and literary influences and effects on graphic novels from Germany and Austria. Students will learn to analyze the form and function of graphic novels and to link them to broader social and historical discourses. The course is taught in German. 4 credits
