SOC-465 Capstone Seminar Prerequisite: SOC 101, at least two 200-level SOC classes An integrative experience where students bring together the knowledge and skills acquired in the major (e.g. skills such as self-assessment and integrative reasoning regarding one’s educational experience) to assist them in reflecting on and planning for the life they wish to live. Both retrospective and prospective, it looks back at what students have done and looks forward to help them prepare for what is ahead. Student also apply what they’ve learned in the major to a field placement. Ideally, as a capstone this course should be taken in the Spring of the Junior year or Fall of Senior year. 2 credits.
